Westmeath Library Services of Sanctuary Award Ceremony report Congratulations to Westmeath Library Services, which has recently joined the growing network of Libraries of Sanctuary in Ireland, with Mullingar Library hosting an award ceremony on 27th May  to mark the occasion. Westmeath County has done itself proud in the creative ways the libraries throughout the county

The staff and board of Places of Sanctuary Ireland, in consultation with experts in the field, has awarded Louth Library Service with national recognition as a Library of Sanctuary. The 5 library branches in County Louth are clearly making a wonderful contribution to building a community of welcome and sanctuary across County Louth, and we
