This yearâs âDialogue of Friendshipâ event will take place on Saturday, 16 May 2026, at Dundrum Methodist Church in Dublin.Â
Join us for a thought-provoking discussion on how to nurture our planet and our friendships in a sustainable way.
The theme will be âFaithfully Caring for Creationâ and the keynote speaker will be the Revd David Coleman, Environmental Chaplain for Eco-Congregation Scotland. This is the fourth âDialogue of Friendshipâ event, organised as a collaboration between the Church of Ireland Interfaith Working Group and the Places of Sanctuary Ireland Sanctuary in Faith Stream.
The day also will offer a variety of panel presentations including the following:
- Dr Raja Harun MBE, Understanding âAl Mizanâ, an Islamic perspective of stewardship of the world
- Hilary Abrahamson, Dublin Jewish Progressive Congregation
- Dublin City Interfaith Forum âSafe Haven’ Initiative
- East Belfast Mission, recently recognised as a Church of Sanctuary
- Dr Manizha Khan, Sanctuary Ambassador and board member for Places of Sanctuary Ireland.
Tea/coffee available on arrival from 10.00 AM, for 10.30 AM welcome and start of the proceedings. The programme will conclude at 3.30 PM.
This event is free of charge and a vegetarian lunch is provided, however pre-booking is essential as places are limited!
